A minimum of five GCSE grades 9 - 5. You do not need to have studied GCSE Business or Economics to take this course.
A Level Business is a new addition to the choices available for students wishing to study Business in the sixth form. Students will develop the knowledge and skills needed to analyse data, think critically about issues and make informed decisions – all skills that are needed for further study and employment.
You will gain an understanding of business organisations, how they are managed, the internal working of a business and the markets they serve. You will develop an awareness of how business affects us all and how the environment in which we live impacts upon business. Key contemporary developments such as digital technology and business ethics, and globalisation are covered throughout the course.

Business provides access to a wide range of degree courses in higher educational establishments or employment, opening up opportunities for careers in Accountancy; Business Management; Economics; Finance; Law; Marketing and Journalism—not forgetting entrepreneurship.
