I would like to introduce myself as the new year 10 manager.I joined the pastoral team at Abbey Grange just before the summer holidays. It has been lovely to begin the new academic year with the year group at the start of their GCSE’s. This is an important and exciting time for the students and I am delighted to be part of their journey.
Although I am new member of staff I have previously worked atAbbey Grange as a teacher in the technology department for several years. I thoroughly enjoyed working at such a supportive, nurturing school where students want to learn, I jumped at the opportunity to return. I have always been interested in supporting students to be the best versions of themselves. I have previously worked as a teacher, mentor and in similar pastoral roles at various schools. I am excited to join a talented and supportive pastoral team who I can continue to learn from.
I pride myself on being a good communicator, firm and consistent in my approach. I am committed to building positive relationships and making sure all students are able to learn and achieve the best possible results.
