Forty-four Year 11 students took part in Step 2 of New College Oxford’s Step-Up programme.
The event began with a day exploring Oxford and a tour of Jesus College, including a visit to the famous Bodleian Library. This was followed by dinner and a night at a hotel, before heading to New College for a busy itinerary of activities designed to inspire, inform and help students take their next steps toward higher education. A tour of the college, along with breakfast and lunch in the stunning dining hall, were accompanied by time to grill student ambassadors. There was also a workshop that gave students a taste of Oxford’s tutorial learning sessions and interviews.
Two of our first cohort to complete the Step-Up programme have received offers for Oxford this year.
